{"id":1112,"date":"2012-01-15T16:26:35","date_gmt":"2012-01-15T16:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.transversalmedia.eu\/you-know-what-bugs-me\/"},"modified":"2012-01-15T16:26:35","modified_gmt":"2012-01-15T16:26:35","slug":"you-know-what-bugs-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theresearchpapers.org\/archive\/you-know-what-bugs-me\/","title":{"rendered":"You know what bugs me?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>That even those of us who are not Christian (or who have suffered because of certain ideologies promoted by some branches of Christianity) are supposed to accept <a href=\"http:\/\/feminismandreligion.com\/2012\/01\/11\/making-amends-and-moving-forward-by-hugo-schwyzer\/\">that very Christian ideas like redemption, change, sin and forgiveness become part of mainstream tenets of feminist thought<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You know dude, I don&rsquo;t believe in redemption (not in the Christian sense because ugh, again, <em>I am not Christian<\/em>), so when I am supposed to &ldquo;forgive&rdquo; some &ldquo;sin&rdquo;, that was not\u00a0committed\u00a0against me, I get very very itchy. Also, I am unsure but I thought that &ldquo;<em>forgiveness by proxy<\/em>&rdquo; was not a &ldquo;thing&rdquo;, as in, it is not our place to &ldquo;redeem&rdquo; someone on behalf of a third party that was victimized by the abuser.
