Previously unknown information about this writer and his history has recently been made available to Scarleteen, information and history with which we have very serious conflicts. For the benefit of the safe environment we always aim to create for our users, and in accordance with the ethics and practices of our organization as a whole, we no longer wish to be associated with him or his work, which is why his contribution here was removed. He had contributed to two other pieces, one of which was removed, and the other of which is down while we create a new piece instead. We apologize for the loss of content any of our readers found of value, and intend to make up for that loss with new content.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And, Healthy is the New Skinny, the organization behind the speaking tour <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redlightpolitics.info\/post\/15791604321\/and-this-is-the-man-who-is-touring-our-local-high\">that I mentioned<\/a> in a previous post, <a href=\"http:\/\/healthyisthenewskinny.com\/blog\/2012\/01\/press-release-from-healthy-is-the-new-skinny\/\">has issued a Press Release<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>LOS ANGELES, January 14, 2012: Due to past events that have been brought to light in Hugo Schwyzer\u2019s personal life, we have decided to end all ties and he will no longer be working with our organization. While his performance with Healthy is the New Skinny (HNS) has been professional and valuable in helping to raise awareness about the struggles of dealing with body image issues in society, he will no longer be affiliated with HNS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile we have appreciated working with Hugo, we were not made aware of the extent of the events that have transpired and do not feel that it would be prudent for him to continue working with HNS.\u201d \u2013 Katie Halchishick, Co-founder of Healthy is the New Skinny<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He, on the other hand, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hugoschwyzer.net\/2012\/01\/15\/my-resignation-from-healthy-is-the-new-skinny-and-perfectly-unperfected\/\">wrote a blog post explaining that he has resigned<\/a>.
