Dear Tumblr,\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u00a0love<\/em>\u00a0the\u00a0Explore<\/a>\u00a0feature. It has been a welcome addition to my Tumblr experience. Without it, I would not discovered some great Tumblr\u2019s\u00a0(or even gain some wonderful new followers). But I would like to see even more – especially areas that I feel are missing – despite having an established sub-communities already having these discussions. Here is my wish list: [more]<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

This is a great idea. <\/strong>(The suggestions, which we truncated for length<\/a>, were media, TV and weather; and Josh\u2019s suggestion on music<\/a> is also worth a thought.)\u00a0<\/em>A couple more thoughts:\u00a0DC Decoder has been pushing for an #2012Election tag, and we\u2019re totally with them on that. It\u2019s a realm that needs organizing. There is also always talk about splitting politics into a few different tags, which would be useful from a splitting-up-info perspective. As we\u2019ve noted in the past, we have a lot of ideas about breaking news and would like to think of ways to do that uniquely with Tumblr. Anyone have any ideas in that department? We\u2019re playing with some stuff ourselves on that.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I\u2019m definitely on board with these suggestions. Also: a #humanrights tag because there\u2019s such a big population of people who care about and blog about human rights related issues here on Tumblr.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
