So, this post at Feministe<\/a>, rightfully\u00a0elicited\u00a0a number of comments about how\u00a0disingenuous\u00a0it was to attempt to define intersectionality without taking into account the history of this framework.<\/p>\n

What I didn’t see mentioned and I see as further proof of the writers’ disdain for PoC’s histories is that she brought up intersectionality in the context of a debate at the Randi Foundation! A neo-imperial, quasi colonial institution that has nothing but contempt for the spiritualities of First Nations and People of Color everywhere and that peddles a very specific brand of Western skepticism that does nothing to disguise its ulterior motives of hegemony. Because really, if there is one American institution devoid of racial and or ethnic intersectional analysis, it would be the Randi Foundation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
