May she be Beautiful but not Damaged, for it\u2019s the Damage that draws the creepy soccer coach\u2019s eye, not the Beauty.<\/em><\/p>\n

When the Crystal Meth is offered, <\/em>May she remember the parents who cut her grapes in half And stick with Beer.<\/em><\/p>\n

Lead her away from Acting but not all the way to Finance.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Honestly. It ain\u2019t easy being a young lady today.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

There is something in this that doesn’t sit well with me. Namely the “for it’s the damage that draws the creepy soccer coach’s eye”. You know… no. It’s the creep himself that diverts his eye, not the “damaged girl’s damage”. It just rings too much of subtle victim blaming or “well, men cannot help themselves” or you know… “she somehow brought it upon herself”.<\/p>\n
