People come in all shapes and sizes, and that\u2019s OKAY.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Real\u2019 is whatever the hell exists out there as a guy &#8211; a guy without a penis, a guy with boobs, a guy that enjoys musical theatre, a guy that enjoys playing tennis, or videogames, or chess, and hey, some guys like skinny chicks, and some guys like skinny guys\u2026and guess what? THAT\u2019S OKAY! It\u2019s personal preference, and <em>guilting anyone into believing they\u2019re not what\u2019s \u2018acceptable\u2019 as a MAN is complete. Utter. Bullshit. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>You do not have to be \u2018curvy\u2019 to be sexy. You can be rail thin. You CAN be curvy. You can be fat. You can have massive boobs and a tiny waist and hips and butt, or the opposite. You can be muscular.\u00a0You can be a girl that might have a penis, or who might not have boobs, and that\u2019s entirely okay. You can even be a combination of these things, and some people may or may not be attracted to you. GUESS WHAT? That is okay, too! Your beauty does not depend on if someone is attracted to you. <\/p>\n<p>In short, stop generalizing and putting others down and invalidating a guy\u2019s \u2018manlihood\u2019 to get your point across. Insecurity can\u2019t be battled by throwing insults at others &#8211; are we really turning into the same people that have insulted us for OUR appearance by switching it around and spreading more hate?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, I am on an unusual reblogging spree today. But it is also a good day to give praise. <a href=\"http:\/\/effyeahtrapeze.tumblr.com\/post\/2543503161\/stop-this-we-do-not-need-to-validate-our\">effyeahtrapeze<\/a> is very young (it is not for me to tell, but take my word on this: she is young enough that she could be my daughter and I am not even <em>that<\/em> old, but it&rsquo;s a good point of reference). And look at what she wrote there. Girls like her give me hope. Because I keep hearing how young people <em>this<\/em>, or <em>that<\/em> or whatever. And then stuff like this shows in my dashboard and I don&rsquo;t buy for a second that we are doomed and going to hell in a handbasket.
