Reginald Bray decided to  test the limits of the Royal Mail. He began a series of experiments,  mailing everything from turnips to rabbit skulls to Russian cigarettes \u2014  and, on three occasions, himself \u2014 up until his death in 1939.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Englishman-Posted-Himself-Curious-Objects\/dp\/1568988729\/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpt_1\">A new book<\/a>, features a photograph of Bray being delivered to his own doorstep in 1900, when he became the first person to send a human being through the mail.
