At the moment, I like to think I have great things going for me! A job, an accommodating family, loyal friends, etc\u2026 but these loans are crippling my ability to enjoy these things<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I find it absolutely fascinating that someone would ask for donations on the basis that paying debt prevents them from fully enjoying their privileges. As many people pointed out yesterday, college students do not necessarily get a lot of information about the loans (and what the loans mean towards their future) so it is not that I am blaming her for contracting the debts (if anything, we should blame the system that created the problem in the first place). But I can point out that she sounds like a hipster suffering from a serious case of entitlement. People should donate so that she can enjoy life in a carefree fashion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
