Just saw an interesting (through lack of a better word) piece, 8 Reasons to Date a White Man at Madame Noire.<\/a><\/p>\n

Here, a couple of the listed reasons:<\/p>\n

2. Not looking for someone to take care of them<\/p>\n

5. They don\u2019t glamourize ignorance (and this is further explained by stating “They may listen to rap music, but they are smart enough not to act it out. The \u201cthug life\u201d is not something to be aspired. White men have a firmer grasp on what really defines manhood<\/em>”).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Really? Has the writer met a different subset of white men than the rest of us? Sure, some white men fit this description but to imply that they are better than men of other ethnicity based on a series of statements that are not even true is quite baffling. Date a white man if you so desire (I did, and even married him) but don’t do so based on this list of reasons.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
