The amount of bullshit in this one article (and don’t even venture into the comments, it gets worse, much worse) is sickening. A few points of note:<\/p>\n

1) the obligatory: “They are wasting MY tax money on sex!”. Because you know, it is always the well intentioned tax payer<\/em> who should get to decide what disabled people do with the money they are “handed down”. The lives of anyone who benefits from any kind of assistance should be dictated by the hordes of people who pay taxes. Entertainment? No, not for you! Sex? No! Sex is bad, paid sex is worse and sex paid with my<\/strong><\/em> money is the worst of all!<\/p>\n

2) The moral judgments. The narratives over the kind of service sex workers provide is plagued with derogatory language, with the kind of oppression that reduces these people to their genitalia and whatever they do with it.<\/p>\n

And of course, as an adopted Amsterdammer, I find it both amusing and horrifying how both the journalist and the commenters are all flustered over the fact that this disabled person has been granted the right to come over here to visit one of the brothels to lose his virginity in a safe environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
