The long night of modern feminism might be about to end. A glimmer of light is flickering in the encircling gloom.<\/p>\n

A study published this week by Dr Catherine Hakim of the London School of Economics has found that men do slightly more work than the women they live with when employment and domestic work are measured together. <\/p>\n

This is the first time I can remember in 40 years that an authoritative study on a key issue of so-called gender politics has come out with a self-evident truth that runs directly contrary to orthodox feminist ideology. The fact that it has been written and published by a woman makes it even more delightful.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

All together now: AWWWWWWWW How cute! The Telegraph found some validation in a dubious study conducted in a university (by a woman, no less!) and now they treat us to some universal axiom declaring the “fight” is over. Yes, I shall now print a copy of this article and hand it to hundreds of thousands of women worldwide who are still struggling for access to unnecessary things like sanitation, basic healthcare, you know, access to “some” rights at all. Some academic in a UK university has conducted a small, inconsequential study and now the media is going to beat the misogynist dead horse to a pulp so that we can learn “the truth”.
