Vibram FiveFingers\u00ae – You Are The Technology<\/a><\/p>\n

There is something quite unsettling in this website. I am not going to deny the obvious aesthetic beauty, but those naked bodies, with inscriptions all over, click-able areas that direct to short films featuring (alleged) expert opinions describing why these shoes are a necessity. It all adds to the capitalist notion of “our bodies are both machines to be consumed and instruments to consume in turn”. It’s dehumanizing and creepy. And the facial expression in the female scares me. The emptiness in those eyes, the smile that resembles a Real Doll.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
