When thinking about feminist analysis and ideas, I am usually much more interested in what we don\u2019t say, that which we don\u2019t speak about than in what we do say. More often than not, the unsaid masks the underlying, unaddressed violence that continues festering and poisoning us. This is the reason why, for instance, I continuously feel the need to bring up a rape victim’s ethnicity<\/a>. We don\u2019t speak of it. We do not address the violence.
