They WANT to say &ldquo;Muslims are all this&rdquo; but they won&rsquo;t because they would then be exposed in their true racist colors. So, instead, they invent a new category. What happens as a result is that this new category erases everything that goes on in addition to the problems you mention (as in, the camps for migrants paid for by the EU in Africa, etc.).
