It’s making me hope for something better. I’ve never been bullied (much) for being openly queer, but I have been bullied and suicidal for a number of reasons and mental disorders. This makes me feel not so alone and really gives me hope for tomorrow.
This is what one 15 (if I recall correctly) year old teen wrote on one of my posts today.
She has dreams, she wants to learn how to fly on a trapeze. She is charming in ways that make me smile. And we should be fucking grateful teens like her exist. We should do better than telling them that Purple Day is meaningless.
