I would rather chew my own toes than listen to former Dutch Socialist Party leader Jan Marijnissen talk for an entire evening. If I was feeling particularly self destructive and suddenly had the urge to listen to white, privilege, outdated people who have even more outdated notions of national politics, I would then sit at a local pub and chat with random strangers. At least, I could justify their potential ignorance with the fact that regular people do not have the time or inclination to be educated on matters of social and or racial affairs.
