via Mail Online, Nominations for the 31st Annual Golden Raspberry Awards, which honour the year’s worst films and actors, have been announced.
While there were plenty of bad movies last year, two stood out and led the nominations: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and The Last Airbender. Both films tied with nine nominations each, including worst picture.
Twilight star Kristen Stewart got a worst actress nomination while her co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were both nominated for worst actor.In addition to that, the entire cast was up for worst screen ensemble.
Joining Pattinson and Lautner in the worst-actor category are Jack Black for the fantasy comedy Gulliver’s Travels, Gerard Butler for The Bounty Hunter and Ashton Kutcher for the action comedy Killers and the romance Valentine’s Day.
The Last Airbender filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan received Razzie nominations for worst director and screenplay.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis were all nominated for worst actress, while Cher, Liza Minnelli and and Barbra Streisand were nominated for worst supporting actress
Megan Fox was nominated for worst actress for her role in Jonah Hex, while Miley Cyrus was nominated for her role in Nicholas Sparks weepfest The Last Song.
Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus had a supporting-actor nomination for The Spy Next Door.
