I really, really love the unspired meme that seems to be popping up today. I love the respective Tumblr as well. But, it also terrifies me, because those ironic posters? I fucking think like that! That’s how inspiring I am in my daily life.
Also, I am terrified that if I create one, I would ruin the whole funny trail that has been posted so far because my first choice would be to use an image from what I like to call “Charity Porn”. You know, those images, usually involving children from Africa or Latin America, depicted in the most miserable conditions to try to elicit donations for a cause. I LOATH that objectifying aesthetic. If you need to show a child covered in flies or afflicted by some terrible disease in order to get 5 Euros for your Foundation, if you are not even capable of preserving that child’s dignity, then you do not deserve money.
And that’s how unspiring I am.
