I don’t approve of cheese (in fact I don’t eat cheese at all) but good bread…OMG, nothing beats good bread. Not even good cake or any pie, a good simple bread is the BEST.
This is the bakery. It is the best of its kind in Amsterdam. Particularly if you are fond of French bread (which is significantly different from North European bread). It’s a French guy who opened the shop a few years ago and it is such a success that no matter what time of the day you go, there are queues outside. Also, the best croissants and pain au chocolat in Amsterdam. And even though I am really keen on several other bakeries in this city, I am willing to stand in snow waiting for my sesame seeds covered baguette. It is that good.
