About Gawker Media Hacks (part eleventy!!!11!)

There is one thing that Denton, for all his genius didn’t yet learn: on the internet you are nothing unless you value the group of people who made you a star (i.e. your readers and commenters). Fail to recognize their importance and they will make sure you learn your lesson… that’s the one thing big new media (internet media empires like Gawker) have yet to learn. The “peasants” are in charge. And unless you play nice, they will behead you…

For the past decade and a half I have been making all my content available for free (and never behind a paywall) as an ongoing practice of ephemeral publishing. This site is no exception. If you wish to help offset my labor costs, you can donate on Paypal or you can subscribe to Patreon where I will not be putting my posts behind a lock but you'd be helping me continue making this work available for everyone. Thank you.  Follow me on Twitter for new post updates.
