you know, i can’t believe you’re talking about racism and imperialism in the same thread as reducing “probably all of the Emirates” and, by extension, a lot of places, to your white, western, racist, imperialist understanding of things.

By “all of the Emirates” I meant, the country known as United Arab Emirates, which is the country where both Dubai and Abu Dhabi are located.

Sorry you disliked my “white, western, racist, imperialist understanding” of a place where I lived and worked and where I witnessed people physically abused by their bosses. My cultural understanding ends where beatings take place.
