I swear that, with the heat wave these days I sometimes want to scream: I WILL MAKE YOU EAT YOUR FUCKING SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT!! instead I mostly give these people the side eye.
Drivers suck, natch. But people on foot and on bikes have SUCH a sense of entitlement; it kills me. They are defiant in their entitlement. “Go ahead; hit me,” say their smirking faces. Fuck them!
I live in Amsterdam, I swear they invented cyclists’ sense of entitlement over here. And don’t get me started on tourists who never rode a bike in a city environment but suddenly, because they are spending a weekend in AMS they rent a bike and they fancy themselves “eco warriors”.
