Dutch Labour MP speaks ignorant
via DutchNews.nl – English riots couldn’t happen here, says Labour MP
Labour MP Ahmed Marcouch is not afraid the British riots will be repeated on Dutch streets, Trouw writes on Wednesday.
‘We have problem areas here where police are having to tread very carefully but they are far from being the explosive cocktails we see elsewhere,’ Marcouch told the paper.
Marcouch cites the drive towards urban renewal as one of the main reasons. ‘You have only to look at the area in Slotervaart [district of Amsterdam] where Theo van Gogh’s killer came from. The flats have been torn down and they are going to build nice houses there. Compare that to some of the inner city estates in Britain,’ he said.
The Dutch are doing more to resolve the underlying problems , says Marcouch. ‘We had a concentration of hundreds of problem families in Slotervaart. It is important to be alert and aware of what is happening and help as much as possible.
Look, Mr. Marcouch, in general, I like you. Quite a lot even. But since this is my neighborhood you are talking about, allow me to say something about your statements: if there are riots in The Netherlands, they most likely won’t come from my hood. They will take place in the all White small towns were the local population (many of whom are also football hooligans) are growing increasingly alienated and feeling isolated. If (and this is a big IF), any social unrest comes from my “problematic” part of the city, it will be fueled by the White hooligan types (whom I have seen myself! shouting abuse and looking for fights with my neighborhood kids!) who come here because the likes of Geert Wilders told them this is where the bad, bad Muslims live and get together and roam the streets (*gasp* I know, locals roaming their local streets).
As a politician, you should be looking into the increasing violence in small Dutch towns without immigrants but plagued with a growing discontent and nihilism. That social unrest that nobody is looking into? That’s your next time bomb.
