Flavia’s like an activist’s activist. She is infinitely supportive and caring to her friends and allies, respectful but brisk with her enemies, and she is an inspiration to me. I know that she doesn’t know how much I appreciate her and rely on her voice, but she is my model for a decent human being and I just love her very very much. I remember when she wrote about her campaign against blackface in the Netherlands and she called it a failure. I thought “If this is failure, then the new editorial policy of Tiger Beatdown must be failure.”
Flavia, you are the best, in case you didn’t know. Sorry if this was supposed to be a secret.
