Me after reading the rules of the new Gawker commenting system. I don’t think of myself as a tech genius or anything, but I think I’m somewhat internet-abled? And I had no fucking clue what this all means. Something about replies coming to your email and you accept them or not? But the emails are public?
This is me officially giving up. Now the world will never get to hear my thoughts on the Fox News Mole’s first round of interrogatories. It’s a tragic loss.

What this new commenting system means is that now commenters are in charge of moderating their own threads. Talk about the fox in charge of the chicken coop. It’s going to be so conductive to non depressive threads. I can foresee an unexpected raise in smart and articulate comments in a site that is already prone to a non racist, non sexist culture. My buddy here is looking forward to contributing as well.
