Oh dear, I know. The subject permanently slips in, doesn’t it? Because it’s a cheap shot, it’s easy to unite people against “something” and immigrants are such an easy group.

Actually, that quote in your post is the very reason I no longer consider myself Groene Links either. I must say, it is disheartening for me, on a very personal level, to see how every major party uses the “brown people” card all the time. It makes me feel unwanted and not valued. And if that happens to me, that I have every reason to consider myself privileged, I don’t want to think how it makes less privileged folks feel.
