- 14/07/96 1 Juri Palienko (49) from Ukraine, suicide in detention centre in Erding (Germany)
- 14/07/03 5 N.N. bodies from North-Africa (exact country of birth unknown) drowned after shipwreck near Barranco H.-Tarifa (Spain), bodies found by Guardia Civil
- 14/07/03 30 N.N. bodies exact country of birth unknown reportedly drowned, after shipwreck near Barranco Hondo-Tarifa (Spain)
- 4/07/08 28 N.N. bodies from Africa (exact country of birth unknown) drowned, 3 died, 25 missing, as boat capsized in stormy seas near Lampedusa (Italy)
- 14/07/09 1 N.N. from Sub-Saharan Africa died at the hospital of El Hierro, Canary Islands (Spain), after boat arrived in La Estaca harbour
- 14/07/09 1 Azad Hayi (28, man) from Kurdistan, death declared to be manslaughter, beaten by neonazis whilst returning to Möhlau asylum centre (Germany) at night.
