My rage of the day (I know I am captain obvious, but it’s partially induced by news items that pop on my dash)
That we live in a world where subsidies for companies or entire product lines (i.e corn/ the financial industry) are deemed to be for “the advancement of society”, while subsidies for people (i.e. any kind of welfare or social program) are considered to be a burden detrimental to society’s well being.
Also, that “free movement of capital and goods” is a worthy goal, but free movement of people (i.e. immigration/ crossing borders) is a threat to national security.
Our era might as well go down in history as the “What where they thinking when they established their priorities?!” time.
For the past decade and a half I have been making all my content available for free (and never behind a paywall) as an ongoing practice of ephemeral publishing. This site is no exception. If you wish to help offset my labor costs, you can donate on Paypal or you can subscribe to Patreon where I will not be putting my posts behind a lock but you'd be helping me continue making this work available for everyone. Thank you. Follow me on Twitter for new post updates.
