Oh hell No, Amnesty International!

This video, meant to create awareness about the issue of refugees and migrants deaths as a result of Europe’s policies was unveiled this week. The video depicts a fictional group of European, white refugees fleeing to Africa where PoC forbid them from reaching the continent. 

I suppose they wanted to turn the tables so that Europeans could somewhat feel empathy for those that are dying? I have no idea what went through the minds of the people who created this. However, the obvious current power disparities between people in the Global South and the European Union make this more offensive than effective.
