Oh please no. Just no. Worst repost ever
Now I am deeply offended. This repost is the worst I have read so far. Sure, it can be because I deeply identify with my Hispanic/ Latino roots but to have someone who is not even part of the culture (she identifies her heritage as Portuguese, which is a whole other bag of issues from being Mexican American) attack a singer who changes her appearance is beyond insensitive. Oh you are hurt that she no longer looks like Frida Khalo? What? I just can’t.
Because you know, every Latin woman exists so that others can project their personal stereotypes and if one decides to not fit into these projections, a total outsider will label you a “bad Latina”.
