I can’t believe people are making a big deal about a cross-dressing photo from his college days.

Neither can I! Moreover, can we have politicians that openly acknowledge fetish as something positive? (Not that this is per se fetish, probably more like youth partying). I mean, a politician should be able to say “Fuck you! My private preferences are none of your business”. But no, it’s scandalous! And tabloid fodder! And more moralistic pandering. And they all end in the same way: calls for resignation, shame for the partner/ families, destroyed careers, etc. Shouldn’t they have learned by now? Perhaps if one of them tried being open about it, for a change, people would actually stand behind them.
