Yes. But also the EQ measurement (also referred to as Emotional Intelligence) is cultural. Because we are all socialized differently. I am almost certain that my responses, as a Latina woman will be different from those of an Asian male (just to give one example) or a Canadian woman, etc. Because our culture determines how we interact with others as well.
