The dehumanisation of prison inmates is very disturbing.

It is! And I can bet you my taxpayer Euros (and former Sudaca Pesitos) that 90% of those “progressives” commenting about the misuse of their money do nothing to protest the military expenditure, the cost of death row inmates, etc, etc. But, they will vocally express their revulsion at the mere thought of a transwoman having surgery with their tax money.
