Real men don’t rape.
This is a really beautiful photo, aesthetically produced, etc, however, it is a fallacy. Real men do rape; and they are all too real, in fact. I find this rhetoric of “real men” to be detrimental as it actually implies that rapists are monsters or some kind of fantasy creature (werewolves, perhaps?). Decent people do not rape. People who care about the well being of their fellow humans do not rape. However, rapists are no less real than a husband or a father or a brother or a boyfriend (or the endless stream of real men likely to commit rape on a daily basis).
