I have a few email alerts for Google News (mainly stuff related to women’s rights and associated key words) and today, I noticed that most of them were missing from my inbox (which is also a Gmail address). Unrelated to this, I checked my spam folder and what do I see? All my Google News alerts had been flagged as such.
I would understand if Gmail flags content originating from outside their own network, but isn’t Google News one of their key services? Maybe Google has decided to self boycott, after all. Or their network reached sentience and is trying to save me from their shenanigans.
