Neither of these tragedies are anywhere on the washingtonpost.com home page.

It’s not just the Washington Post, it’s all mainstream news. This is happening in the EU, in the so called “First World”, or “the West”. Still, reading most of European media, you’d think undocumented migrants, asylum seekers, etc, are neither suffering nor being subject to State violence. And that, assuming they acknowledge the mere existence of undocumented migrants in the first place (something that never happens in The Netherlands, for instance, where if I go by our local news sources, we have none living here, NONE AT ALL).

For the past decade and a half I have been making all my content available for free (and never behind a paywall) as an ongoing practice of ephemeral publishing. This site is no exception.
