Honestly. It ain’t easy being a young lady today.
There is something in this that doesn’t sit well with me. Namely the “for it’s the damage that draws the creepy soccer coach’s eye”. You know… no. It’s the creep himself that diverts his eye, not the “damaged girl’s damage”. It just rings too much of subtle victim blaming or “well, men cannot help themselves” or you know… “she somehow brought it upon herself”.
I just think it contributes to a culture we desperately need to do away with.
