Trying to write some stuff about Lana del Rey, I was looking for Evan Dando’s and Sabrina Brooke’s version of Summer Wine on YouTube and I got this as a “recommendation”. Quite possibly the most bizarre version I ever heard of this song: Roland Kaiser (singing his part of the lyrics in German) and Nancy Sinatra (singing hers in English). I wonder why Tarantino didn’t include this in Inglourious Basterds. It would also be great as part of a soundtrack to a biergarten themed party.
