What about tomorrow?
Tomorrow you can continue, you can support, you can speak up. Also, you can learn and expand your ideas or pre-conceptions. If you want to start somewhere, I invite you to read the amazing Helen G at Bird of Paradox. Helen is, in her own words, “an ordinary, boring, 50-something, white, middle-class transsexual woman; based in London and trying to hold down a job in IT support as I build a life that feels more like mine and less like one I was camping out in until something better came along”. Ordinary and boring are the last words I would use to define her. Instead, I would think of “articulated, passionate, intelligent”.
She writes about transphobia, about what it is like to be a woman and her life. I learn from her and I am glad that there are voices like hers. We need them. Check her out.
For the past decade and a half I have been making all my content available for free (and never behind a paywall) as an ongoing practice of ephemeral publishing. This site is no exception. If you wish to help offset my labor costs, you can donate on Paypal or you can subscribe to Patreon where I will not be putting my posts behind a lock but you'd be helping me continue making this work available for everyone. Thank you. Follow me on Twitter for new post updates.
