I planned a 6 day trip to Barcelona from June 1st onwards. So now I am about to book the tickets and the place where I was planning to stay. Only to find out that, probably due to terrible Spanish economic crisis and their increasing dependency on tourism, the trip I used to be able to do with around 750 euros for two people (me and the husband) has gone up to 1500+! Ermz, no… I could almost go back to visit my family in South America or Mexico for that money. So now I am off to look for something more suitable to my cheap ass. Something that doesn’t involve giving away my non existent first born in exchange.
