Why had I never seen this video before?! Michael Jackson, James Brown, and Prince on stage in 1983.

The quality of the image is not great but OMG. Also, a moment that I believe defines Prince’s entire career: around 1:50, after Michael Jackson has sang a bit, James Brown grabs the mic and calls for Prince to come to the stage. And then he calls again. And again. And from further afar, sort of hidden in the crowd, comes Prince all nonchalant like “oh moi? why would I want to go on stage WITH THE GREATEST MUSICIANS OF ALL TIME?!”. Also, he acts weird. And I mean… weird.
