Also, the award for most offensive euphemism of the day goes to…

“I see this article has inspired a lot of feelings in you”.

That is called “being triggered”. Inspiring bullshit, if one prefers a less polite way of putting it.

Additionally, I am not really qualified to write about this extensively, but I would like to posit the argument that co-dependency, as it is portrayed in pop-psych is just a bunch of pseudo scientific jargon. For some people, what unqualified “critics” deem to be “a co-dependent” relationship is a life saving one. It might be the anchor that keeps them grounded and in a healing space. Really, this portrayal of relationship dynamics of which someone might have absolutely no first hand experience is let’s just say, problematic (and yes, I am being, for once, unusually polite).

For the past decade and a half I have been making all my content available for free (and never behind a paywall) as an ongoing practice of ephemeral publishing. This site is no exception. If you wish to help offset my labor costs, you can donate on Paypal or you can subscribe to Patreon where I will not be putting my posts behind a lock but you'd be helping me continue making this work available for everyone. Thank you.  Follow me on Twitter for new post updates.
