CRUDE – Song of the Amazon (via CrudeTheMovie)

curate has been posting about the meeting of Ecuadorian indigenous people with their counterparts in the Gulf region. Leaders from the Amazon and the Grand Bayou American Indians have gotten together to discuss the similarities between the oil spill that Chevron caused in Ecuador, which devastated the region and the current BP oil spill in the US.

This video is part of the promotional material for the documentary Crude, which tells the story of the devastating consequences of the oil spill in Ecuador and documents the struggles of the indigenous people to get compensation for their losses.
