You know, I just read the pretentious use of Walter Benjamin to justify posting asses. I have a better and probably briefer idea, why not just say “It’s our own fucking site and we’ll do as we please. If you don’t like it, GTFO”. At least they wouldn’t use so many words to basically say nothing.
And they would be honest, which Gawker/ Denton always promoted as an asset against the evils of non transparent old media. But I guess hypocrisy pays per word in which case, Jenna must have earned her bread today.
