Oh look, New Statesman publishes an article that plagiarizes me

Here the article where they take stuff I wrote without crediting me:

In defence of Caitlin Moran and populist feminism

and their editor’s response is here because you know, white feminists getting paid to trash the plight of Women of Color, PLAGIARIZING THE WORK OF WOMEN OF COLOR, is no big deal, right? Just a widely used statement that does not have an author behind it…

Carry on, I’ll be here waiting for my apology and correction.

ETA: The Editor seems to take issue with my use of the word “plagiarizing”. How do we call this? Ripping off? pretending my words materialized by themselves?

For the past decade and a half I have been making all my content available for free (and never behind a paywall) as an ongoing practice of ephemeral publishing. This site is no exception. If you wish to help offset my labor costs, you can donate on Paypal or you can subscribe to Patreon where I will not be putting my posts behind a lock but you'd be helping me continue making this work available for everyone. Thank you.  Follow me on Twitter for new post updates.
