My vocal protests about Tumblr appointing a certain editor for the Politics section who happens to be a staunch anti Affirmative Action activist (who handed cookies to PoC in his campus) and anti women’s rights activist? Do you remember that I was invited to kill myself as a result of his supporters getting angry, I received insults in my askbox and general hostilities?
Well, it seems Tumblr has heard us! But wait, they might have heard us but that doesn’t mean they will remove bigots from positions of authority. Instead, what they have done is hide the names of editors and contributors. So, you know, this guy can continue exercising power with impunity and without accountability.
Corporate transparency for the win! A victory for women and minorities!
For the past decade and a half I have been making all my content available for free (and never behind a paywall) as an ongoing practice of ephemeral publishing. This site is no exception. If you wish to help offset my labor costs, you can donate on Paypal or you can subscribe to Patreon where I will not be putting my posts behind a lock but you'd be helping me continue making this work available for everyone. Thank you. Follow me on Twitter for new post updates.
