Report about Nidera, Dutch company accused of slavery on Argentinian TV

Yesterday the story about Nidera broke into national news here in The Netherlands. This is the headline, from yesterday in one of the biggest newspapers in the country.

I’ve also been in touch with the journalist who wrote the featured story. Some local news outlets are linking to my piece as it was featured in GM Watch as well. As a result of this, currently I am getting many hits from both Dutch news organizations and general public.

The video above is in Spanish but it shows images from the plantation and the living conditions that these people were in. The report comes from a state owned TV station in Argentina. There are audio clips from Nidera’s HR manager and also from the District Attorney who led the procedures that started the court mandated interventions.

I do not have the time to subtitle the video into English and/ or Dutch, but if someone wants my input or help, contact me here.
