Serial killing of migrants in Germany started in 2000

via Monsters and Critics:

Three alleged neo-Nazi serial killers, suspected of Germany’s longest wave of right-wing violence since World War II, slipped through police fingers in 1998 after apparently sending letter-bombs.

As portrayed by investigators this week, the woman and two men, all aged between 34 and 38, went on to lead a fugitive existence, robbing banks and changing names as they moved around Germany.

Police suspect the trio of the execution-style killings of at least nine immigrant businessmen and one policewoman, possibly with the aim of terrifying the 3 million people of Turkish origin living in Germany.

More at the link above. Apparently German police are investigating the possibility of more murders in connection with these arrests.
