While the U.S. House is trying to prevent Planned Parenthood from receiving federal dollars, other legislation pending in the House — albeit quietly — would direct taxpayer money to crisis pregnancy centers, which, in recent years, have become anti-abortion rights groups’ low-income alternative to reproductive health clinics.
